Ira teamed up with brilliant Israeli Violinist Lior Kaminetsky in June for a Series of Performances through the Northwest United States. Stops included Billings, Bozeman and Great Falls, MT, Boise and Pocatello, ID and Laramie, WY and radio and press interviews.

Performing both Classic Israeli and Jewish Music as well as nightly original songs and several spontaneous compositions incepted right on stage, Lior and Ira brought the stories and sounds of both their rich Tribal and personal histories and tradition across a Trek of 4 States.

Their Tour included visits to Yellowstone National Park and Hot Springs and also an extraordinary visit with the Synagogue and Individuals who were key in the emergence of the International Anti-Hate Movement "Not in Our Town", (Billings, MT). The pair also enjoyed quality publicity and attendance along with high level Coordinating vis-a-vis Soul Train Israel, an Israeli outreach group that began in the Pacific Northwest in 1999.

Ira is proud to perform weekly with good friend and Emmy Award Winning TV Writer/Producer David Sacks at the Popular Series "Living with G-d: Spiritual Tools for an Outrageous World".

David's TV Credits include "The Simpsons", "Malcolm in the Middle" and "3rd Rock From the Sun".

Ira has been hired to record with a new Musical Production for the New York Stage. Tracks for the Musical are in production now in L.A. by a Collaborative Team who's credits include Les Miserables (Musical Direction) and Yanni (Musical Direction) as well as a host of popular Film and TV Scores.

Ira recorded in Nachla'ot, Jerusalem this past Summer, bringing his music and storytelling performances to several clubs around Israel. This Compilation 5 CD set features new songs "The Holy Fire" and "David's Way" as well as several favorites: "Walking On the Grass", "Playing At Sea" and "Sunrise".

Ira's second Music Video, "Shelter From the Wind', from the Behind the Shadows CD has been released on You Tube and MySpace. Produced by colleague Rob Fox (Paramount Studios, Fox Studios), "Shelter From the Wind" was filmed on location in Los Angeles and Pasasdena, CA.

In February of 2006, Ira performed back to back shows in his Superbowl Champion hometown of Pittsburgh, PA. The buzz was in the air at Paparazzi's Nightclub on the SouthSide, and for those who didn't get to savor the moment, the entire evening has been captured on a Live, Digitally Recorded Double CD Set, Ira Caplan - Live!!! (Pgh, PA 2.16.06).

Performing all original music and backed up by seasoned musicians and an excellent crowd, Ira jammed out the night with Rhythm and Blues, Rock and Solo Acoustic passion. A good time was had by all, celebrating both the victory of the Steelers (who Ira grew up with in the 70's and 80's) and a very full gathering of Ira's family and friends.
